A supplier of innnovative drainage options, Jet Aire, has been named one of many profitable companions within the Ofwat Breakthrough Innovation Problem for its participation in a analysis mission to develop the world’s first blockage clearing pipebots.
Working with Northumbrian Water Group, the College of Sheffield, in addition to a variety of different universities, WASC’s and suppliers, this mission goals to discover a method to proactively detect build-ups earlier than they turn out to be a blockage, eradicating spills and sewer flooding and its devastating influence on clients.

The Water Breakthrough Problem is a part of a sequence of competitions from Ofwat, run by Problem Works with Arup and Isle Utilities, designed to drive innovation and collaboration within the sector to learn people, society and the atmosphere.
