Study highlights misalignment of gas infrastructure planning and decarbonization goals

Consultants from RAP and Oeko-Institut analyzed the state of fuel infrastructure, regulation and improvement in Germany, Denmark, the Netherlands, Belgium, Italy, Austria, and the UK. Their evaluation identifies seven widespread regulatory obstacles to fuel grid decommissioning and 6 overarching suggestions to align planning with climate targets.
