We’ve all heard it – OMG, EVs / lithium fireplace hazard is SO REAL. Is it although? Should you imagine the memes you get from “friends” who attempt to deter you from driving an EV, it’d appear to be an enormous deal. Properly, apparently sufficient, some people at AutoinsuranceEZ did an evaluation and located…nicely…right here’s their meme.

Seems, gasoline vehicles trigger 3837.17 instances extra fires than EVs.

So…why isn’t that within the information? Properly, perhaps as a result of it’s not new – gasoline is frikking flammable, in fact they trigger fires. What’s new and fascinating (ie., “it bleeds/it leads”), is that sometimes an EV catches fireplace too. But additionally, it’s important to know that those that’s monetary or political future depends on our continued use of gasoline are solely to comfortable to throw numerous PR cash behind any publicity of EVs as imperfect.
